Meet the team

our story

Highschool Haulers began in 2015 when friends Dallin and Jack, with a prayer in their hearts, decided to turn their need for college savings into an opportunity to serve their community. What started as a simple way to earn money by hauling junk and moving furniture quickly grew into something much bigger. As the years passed, the business was handed down to their younger brothers—first to Isaac, then to Carter. Now, all the brothers work together to manage a thriving business that has not only supported their own college dreams but has also helped hundreds of other high school students do the same.

At Highschool Haulers, we believe in hard work, community, and the power of education. We know that our success is a result of both our efforts and the help we’ve received along the way. Over the years, we’ve expanded our services, but our mission remains the same: to provide reliable, hardworking help while giving high school students the chance to save for their futures. Each job we take on brings us one step closer to our goals, and we’re grateful to have built a business that continues to make a positive impact on both our customers and our team. When you hire Highschool Haulers, you’re not just getting a service—you’re investing in the future of young people with big dreams and even bigger determination.

Dallin Slade

Austin, Tx

Dallin Slade is the founder of HighSchool Haulers, a Texas-based moving and junk removal company he started in 2015 while he was a sophomore in high school.

Long before launching the business, Dallin Slade was always looking for ways to become financially independent. As a young boy, he mowed neighbors’ lawns, ran lemonade stands, made duct tape wallets, and took on whatever honest work he could find. His parents instilled the importance of hard work and personal responsibility early on. If he wanted new shoes, clothes, or to spend money with friends, he had to figure out how to earn it.

His childhood wasn’t the easiest, and it definitely wasn’t average, but it shaped him. It built resilience, grit, and a deep appreciation for earning what you have. He learned early that creating your own opportunity is powerful.

HighSchool Haulers began with junk removal using our own trucks and trailers. Dallin Slade saw strong support in the community for local high school students willing to work hard and do the job right. What started as simple hauling jobs grew into a structured moving and labor business built on reliability, honesty, and showing up when promised.

Today, HighSchool Haulers remains active and continues to grow. Dallin has watched his brothers step in, take ownership, and expand what began as a high school idea into a lasting business.

For Dallin Slade, HighSchool Haulers represents more than a moving company. It represents independence, work ethic, and the belief that small beginnings, handled the right way, can create real opportunity for young people learning life skills and saving for college.

Isaac Slade

Austin, Tx

Isaac Slade took over operations of HighSchool Haulers in the summer of 2018 at just 16 years old. Having watched his older brother build the foundation of the company, Isaac was deeply inspired and eager to follow in his footsteps. When the opportunity came to lead, he stepped in with both excitement and a clear understanding that the responsibility would stretch him.

Taking over the business at a young age often felt like jumping into deep water. There was limited guidance and real expectations. With support from the community, steady encouragement from his parents, and faith in God, Isaac leaned into the challenge and began shaping the company into its next phase.

In 2019, he officially established HighSchool Haulers as an LLC and focused on building structure and longevity. He strengthened internal systems, developed a more professional brand presence, organized team profiles and activities, and appointed managers to build leadership within the team. Under his direction, the company grew to over 30 employees and expanded its operational consistency.

One of Isaac’s greatest accomplishments has been building a team he could trust to operate independently. Creating a culture where his friends and employees could confidently run jobs without him present became a defining milestone in his leadership journey. For Isaac, growth meant empowering others and building something that could function beyond himself.

Through HighSchool Haulers, Isaac was blessed with the opportunity to fund his education, vehicle, weekly activities with his high school girlfriend (now wife), and contribute to his family at home. Learning to manage significant responsibility and income at a young age shaped his discipline and perspective in lasting ways.

For Isaac Slade, HighSchool Haulers represents stewardship, faith, leadership, and the belief that responsibility embraced early can shape a lifetime of opportunity. What began as following his brother’s example became a journey of growth, gratitude, and a deeper reliance on God.
